The return of the Brunch

Menus for the week of September 14th

This is the last week I’ll remind you that Sunday Brunch is coming up, because it’s (re) launching this Sunday, and so after that I’ll only be able to remind you that Sunday Brunch has launched.

You can see our brunch menu here, and if you want the good-guy discount, then take advantage of our GILT city flash sale, starting later today. It’ll be posted on our f-book page when it goes live.

Here’s what we’ve got planned for this week:

  • Monday plays Casablanca again, Sam
  • Tuesday takes the minivan to a Suburban BBQ
  • Wednesday goes deeper into Provencal cooking with Cannes, France
  • Thursday gets tangy in Kashmir
  • Friday serves up whatever chef Leigh feels like cooking, which is always good

Stop in, say hello, grab a bite to eat.

A small, laughable, correction.

Menus for the week of August 17th.

Strange, but one could almost say it feels like a real summer in San Francisco. I mean, not like SF’s normal frigid, air conditioned, longest-running-tourist-prank-ever “summer”, but an actual summer. And you’re telling me that other places in the country get even hotter? No thanks.

Here’s what we’ve got planned for this week:

  • Monday re-explores the exciting cuisine of the Punjab
  • Tuesday heads down south to Alabama
  • Wednesday receives what the Vietnamese took from the French
  • Thursday reaps the dividends of Italians immigrants in California
  • Friday isn’t waiting for Oktoberfest to visit Munich

Note from the editor: A couple months back I mentioned that we had cold-brew coffee on nitrus. While that would’ve been hilarious – literally, you would have been laughing your face off – I meant nitro. Apparently those are not the same thing. So, we have cold-brew on nitro. Get your nitrus fix somewhere else.

Every month should be National Picnic Month

Menus for the week of August 3rd.

Hold the gosh-darned phone. Did anyone else know that July was National Picnic Month? How did we not know this? Why were we not alerted? Granted, that crappy website seems to be the only validation of this celebration (if Wikipedia doesn’t have it, it doesn’t exist!), but still, I feel like we should’ve gotten a letter or something. Sheesh.
